What is Operations Volunteering?

A casual way to help with NPO The Third Family operations — lightly and easily.

• Join on your preferred day, one-time is fine. Fully online.
• No special skills required. Staff are present.
• Optional social time with other participants.
• Open to current/past users, adults who once struggled, and anyone else.

Marshmallow Replies

Help write replies to anonymous questions sent to NPO The Third Family via “Marshmallow” (an anonymous Q&A service). Held about 3 times a month.

• Check for recruitment via official LINE
• Join the Zoom link sent on the day (no camera required)
• Choose a marshmallow you can answer and write a reply
• Optional social time (“something good that happened recently,” recommended content, etc.)

gedokun Moderation

Help hide inappropriate posts on gedokun to keep it a safe space. Held about once a month.

• Check for recruitment via official LINE
• Join the Zoom link sent on the day (no camera required)
• Flag posts that meet inappropriate content criteria
• Optional social time

Notes

• Submissions that may negatively affect teenagers may be modified or withdrawn by staff.
• Please refrain from participating if you feel your wellbeing may be affected.
• Exchanging personal information between participants, promoting services, or participating with intent to meet people is prohibited.

Recruitment and day-of links are posted on gedokun “Staff Notices.” Also posted on our official LINE and X.

For adults

Recruitment and day-of links are sent via the official LINE (adult).
