Using Us as Research Material

NPO The Third Family actively welcomes research inquiries from students for inquiry-based learning, essays, and academic papers for the following reasons:

• We want to increase the number of students interested in social issues facing children and youth.
• We want to raise awareness of NPO The Third Family among students.
• We want to meet young people starting support organizations for children and youth.

Eligible Grade Levels

Elementary school through doctoral programs.

Example Uses

• Researching organizations working on family issues for inquiry-based learning.
• Writing an essay on child suicide and wanting to speak with someone knowledgeable.
• Researching safe spaces for children in a university study and wanting to interview an implementing organization.

Citation and Reference

Students do not need permission from the organization to cite or reference this website (official HP) for learning purposes.

Please use citations as needed to ensure accuracy, and list NPO The Third Family as a reference site.

Regarding gedokun posts

Please do not use screenshots of gedokun posts or reproduce post text directly. Users do not expect their posts to appear in class materials. Please use demo images from the official HP. When describing post content, please abstract it (e.g., “had concerns about school relationships”).

Interviews

You can interview Representative Okumura for 20–60 minutes. No payment is required.

Please contact us via the inquiry form, stating your request and including a list of questions.

Please review the official HP and service sites beforehand, and prepare questions that are your own — not basic information already on the site.
