To ensure that the young people who use The Third Family can do so in a safe, secure, and healthy way.
Convention on the Rights of the Child
Children and young people who use The Third Family. There is no age restriction. Although the term "shōnen shōjo" (boys and girls) is used, it does not imply any specific gender. We choose this term because children and young people may rarely refer to themselves as "children" or "young people," whereas "shōnen shōjo" is commonly found in novels, music, and manga aimed at younger audiences — making it feel more familiar and relatable.
Adults involved with The Third Family, including staff, volunteers, and event participants.
